The 25-minute DVD presentation, “Our Canal Heritage,” introduces the legacy of early pioneer Catholic priests who ministered to the Irish workers along the Illinois and Michigan Canal. It includes the history of St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church and Cemetery, near Lemont, Illinois, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
